The European Business Ethics Network EBEN, founded in 1987 as a non-profit association, is a cross-national network dedicated to the promotion of business ethics, broadly defined, in academia, business, public sector and civil society.

Our mission is to promote ethics and excellence in businesses, to increase awareness about ethical challenges in the global marketplace and to enable dialogue on the role of business in society.

This year's Research Conference "Accountability, transparency, sustainability" will take place in Newcastle, UK, June 7-9 and is being organised by Newcastle University Business School.  It will include a stream on research methods in business ethics research.  There will be a special edition of Business ethics: a European review on papers in this stream.

Papers and abstracts must be submitted by 31 January 2012.
